My Home Needed a Makeover

Although I love my home, it was obvious that it needed to be spruced up a bit. After watching hours of home improvement shows on TV, I felt like I had a pretty good idea of what my space was lacking, and more importantly, how to improve the problem areas. For instance, the exterior paint was dull and faded after being exposed to the harsh Texas sun for so long. Plus, my kitchen was definitely outdated and not very functional. Every time I tried to host a dinner party, working with a limited amount of counter space was always a challenge. Instead of the drab vibe of my current kitchen, I dreamed of a space filled with stainless steel appliances, rich mahogany cabinets, and granite countertops. Not only would a home makeover be more pleasing to my eye, but it would also make me excited to come home from work every day. Design experts always highlight the fact that your home should be an inspiring reflection of your personality. Well, my abode was anything but inspiring, so it was time to make a change and come up with some renovation plans.

Home Repairs are Costly

Another thing I've learned from home improvement shows is that renovations often cost a pretty penny. It's easy to spend several thousand dollars on a single room - especially if you plan to do a major overhaul. Since there were a few rooms I was interested in making over, I knew my bank account would take a significant hit. However, it was really important to make my living space more reflective of my individual style, so I needed to come up with the money. I've always been pretty good about saving, so I had a nice chunk of change to get started. The money I had would most likely cover the cost of basic demolition and construction, but I would need some extra cash to afford new furniture and accessories. My resources were already stretched pretty thin, so I needed to come up with an easy way to get a financial boost without jumping through hoops. I quickly realized that if I wanted to create my dream home, I would need to get creative in terms of budget. The good news is I've never been one to back down from a challenge!

Title Loans in Texas Paid for My Renovation

I could barely contain my excitement when a quick Internet search led me to title loans in Texas. I was thrilled to learn that I could use my car title as collateral for a short term loan and keep driving the entire time. Plus, I was approved without undergoing a credit check. My credit took a hit in recent years, so I was relieved to know that I would not be judged based on my financial history. Instead, I simply needed to provide some information about my car in order for the lender to determine its current market value. Once I was sent my free quote, I had an idea of how much I could get and moved forward with the application process. Within about 24 hours, I was driving away with car title loan cash from a store close to home. The speedy service of Texas title loans really made all the difference when it came to my home makeover. I was so happy to be able to afford all the personal touches that really made my house a home. I am happy to report that my home now looks like one of those enviable "after" shots on one of my favorite renovation shows! Thanks to Longhorn Lending, I know where to turn when I need cash in a flash.
